Rob Stull (Music Director and Conductor) is a Graduate Conducting Associate at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in pursuit of his Doctoral of Musical Arts degree under the direction of Dr. Terence Milligan and Dr. Kevin Michael Holzman.
Rob holds a Masters of Music in Wind Conducting degree from Indiana State University, where he studied under Dr. John Boyd and Dr. Douglas Keiser. As a graduate conductor, he worked with the University Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, chamber ensembles, and Sycamore Marching Band. Prior to attending Indiana State University, he gained his Bachelor of Music degree in Education from Seton Hill University working with Kathleen Campbell in conducting and saxophone performance. He worked for nine years as a resident artist at Pittsburgh Musical Theater, working at the Richard Rauh Conservatory as a music director and instrumentalist. He also spent over 15 years, serving as music director for several theaters in the Pittsburgh area. Currently Rob is music director and conductor of the University of Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (UCSO), allowing non-music majors the opportunity to share their musical talents within an ensemble setting. He is also ensemble manager of the newly formed CCM Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Kevin Michael Holtzman and Dr. Aik Khai Pung. His focus of study is multi-media work for the wind band and the exploration of interesting and quality works for the 21st century. He is dedicated to the production and sustainment of quality wind works. |
Ron Attreau (Assistant Conductor) is a Clifton-based pianist, multi-woodwind instrumentalist, music teacher, and conductor. He is delighted to be working with UCSO this season!
Ron is currently working on a Masters of Music in Music Education at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, with a focus on instrumental conducting and repertoire. Ron also music directs shows for theatrical productions with Cincinnati Landmark Productions (Covedale and Incline Theatres) as well as various other local theater companies (The Carnegie, Footlighters) and schools (Wyoming High School, Kings High School) throughout greater Cincinnati and Chicagoland regions. |
Zachary Cochran (Intern, Music Education) is a Cellist from Cincinnati and is working towards a Bachelors degree in Music Education at the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music. Zack has been working with the UCSO since the Fall semester of 2018 and is looking forward to continuing his work with the wonderful group!
